Gabe and I in front of the church. Gabe was the "honorary" ring bearer. At first Mari was going to have him hold a book with the rings resting on it, which I thought was a cute idea until we remembered..... Gabe is 2! and probably would have chucked the rings down the first air vent he saw. :D He did, however, do a great job holding Elle's (the flower girl) hand down the aisle. Such a gentleman!

I had to get a picture of Gabe's whole wedding outfit. Bow tie, vest, khaki cargo's and converse shoes with skulls on them. Classic.

The wedding crowd was blowing bubbles as they were coming out of the church. Gabe is going cross-eyed trying to blow a bubble. haha.

Just Married!

OK, so this isn't the most artistic picture but I love it because it tells a little story. This is in the parish house literally just seconds before walking down the aisle. Mari is doing deep breathing, trying very hard not to hop out of the chair and run down the aisle to Eric; Kathryn is busy trying to get Mari to stay still so she can finish her hair; and Lisa (on the left) is trying to put a dress on Kathryn so that she can go sit in the church to see them get married. We were all sort of hovering around Mari like linebackers with our arms stretched out wide because she kept trying to get up and leave with only one eye of makeup on and no veil. She was so funny!

We arrived in Santa Barbara a little early before the rehearsal at the church so we took the kids down to the beach to play. It was Gabe's first time to the ocean and Elle's first time that she remembers (unless she was a baby genius at the age of 18 months, since that was the last time she was there; which I haven't ruled out yet).
